The Nation’s Largest In-School Dental Program is looking for an Oral Health Educator (also known as the Tooth Fairy!) to drive participation at our partner school districts while engaging children in the importance of oral health. Serving children for almost 20 years, our Smile Programs Mission is to bring dental care to students in schools, in the most comfortable and effective way.   In this role, you will be traveling to schools in and around Greenville, NC giving short oral health presentations to children in grades PK-5, while distributing consent forms from classroom to classroom. You will also be interacting with teachers, nurses, and other school staff.   Oral Health Educators are asked to visit schools: 1. If the school has low participation - less than 20% of students signed up to receive dental care 2. If the school is new and a visit will create more interest in the program 3. If the school has specifically requested that an Oral Health Educator make a visit to the school   Travel Requirements: • Travel within a 60 mile radius   Requirements: • Available to work Monday-Friday during school hours (8AM-3PM) and up to 15 hours/week.
